Tjongsfjord Lodge is required to submit a fish report for 5 fish species to the Norwegian authorities. We kindly ask you to provide the required information daily during your stay at Tjongsfjord Lodge.

Catch Report via Fishmemo – How it Works

Important for all anglers at Tjongsfjord Lodge

As a guest of our lodge, you actively contribute to the protection and sustainable management of fish stocks in the Norwegian Sea. Reporting your catches via https://10milesnorth.fishmemo.com/ is an important contribution – and very easy!

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Registration (one-time)

2. Check your email invitation

  • You will receive an email invitation from Fishmemo.
  • This email contains a Magic Link.
  • You do not need to create or remember a password.
  • Click the Magic Link in the email to log in.

3. Wait for the lodge to assign your boat

  • The lodge manager will create a group for your trip and connect the group to a boat.
  • Only registered guests listed in Fishmemo can be assigned to a trip with a boat.
  • Boat assignment is handled on a first come, first served basis.

Important: You can only start reporting catches after the successful activation and boat assignment! Catches must be reported daily. The report is submitted per boat.

3. Report Catch – Here’s How

  • Go to “My Trips”
  • Once the lodge has assigned you to a trip, log in to Fishmemo and go to: “My Trips”
  • There you will see the boat assigned to your group.
  • Start your trip. When your fishing trip begins, select: “Start Trip”
  • This activates the trip in Fishmemo.
  • During the trip, the guest selected by the lodge as the reporting guest can submit catch reports. To do this, choose: “Send Catch Report(s)”
  • Other guests in the group can log in and view the catch reports for the trip.
  • End the trip. At the end of the trip, the final catch report must be submitted. Then select: “End Trip”
  • Once the trip is ended, the lodge will be notified.

4. At the end of your stay you will get your export documents.

  • After the trip has been completed, the lodge will create the required customs documents for each guest.
  • If the documents are sent electronically, you can access them in Fishmemo.
